Land
teaches using the award-winning High Reach Learning age-appropriate
curriculum series. LLL believes that learning is sequential and
that concepts build on to more complex concepts. Because of this, an
organized, goal-oriented teaching program is in place which begins in the
older infant classroom and progresses through our Private
Prekindergarten. In fact, our Private Prekindergarten utilizes public
school level curriculums and materials.
High Reach Learning
balances child-directed activities (allowing and encouraging children to
explore their individual interests through play in learning centers) and
teacher-directed activities (where teachers implement our research-based
curriculum to guide children toward educational goals). Unlike the majority
of early childhood curriculums, High Reach Learning offers a year-round,
twelve month curriculum – not just teaching units for the school year.
