School-Age
Program for Children in NW Houston and Spring
Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
Linder Learning Land offers a school-age program. For the beginning of this new service, children must be from kindergarten through the summer of third grade ages. As this program grows, we plan to expand to include older children.
Summer Camp
The summer camp concentrates on nature studies and crafts. The children have
their own classroom with a limited enrollment to ensure that each child receives individual attention. Summer is
relaxed but organized with activities created especially for this three year age span.
In-School "Field Trips"
In consideration of safety and health issues, Linder
Learning Land is conservative about taking children off campus.
Most field trips are organized to bring the
activities TO your child instead of taking a group of young children to crowded, public places.
The field trips and events your child will experience with Linder
Learning Land include:
These fun and exciting adventures are only a part of what your child will experience. Parents are surveyed to learn what off-campus field trips they may want for their children.
Before & After School Program
A before and after school program for nearby elementary schools is offered for
kindergarten through third grade children during the school year. The children ride in a new Girardin mini-bus with front and rear air-conditioning, a seat belt for each child, exterior driver mirrors, a reverse alarm, a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher and a reflector kit. The LLL driver is an adult
professional teacher at Linder Learning Land whose driving record is checked regularly.
In the afternoon, a snack is served then the children work on their homework.
Afterwards, they play on our 2+ acre playground. If the weather is bad,
they may do a crafts activity, watch a movie or play organized games in our
indoor, air-conditioned playroom.
